The first historical records of Château Plain Point date back to the year 1480. Embark on a journey through several centuries of history.
In 2023, Château Plain Point entered a new era with the construction of a custom-designed winery to showcase the terroir.
It is the alchemy between its landscapes, its mosaic of soils, its oceanic climate, and its location at the confluence of two major rivers that creates the unique soul of Château Plain Point wines.
At Château Plain Point, we work like the greatest artisans to delicately and precisely reveal the nuances and subtleties of our terroir.
"The breath of nature."
Originally from Scotland, Highland cows are recognized by their long, wavy coats and majestic horns. Their imposing yet peaceful silhouette evokes an ancient, untamed, and respectful nature.
Gentle, curious, and quiet, the alpacas have found their place on the farm as guests as elegant as they are endearing. Originally from South America, they charm with their calm gaze and peaceful gait.
In their own way, they embody the tenderness of nature when it is allowed to express itself freely. In the paths of the estate, they have become the benevolent mascots of a proudly embraced biodiversity.
Originating from the Breton island of Ouessant, these sheep are among the smallest in the world. Their modest size hides surprising robustness and an impressive ability to maintain the meadows.
At Château Plain Point, they remind us that landscape management can be gentle, quiet, and deeply respectful of nature’s rhythms.
Further into the vineyards, the draft horses resume their ancestral role. By replacing machines, they allow for gentler soil work, more respectful of the vines and their physiology.
